The waterfalls of Goa
Dudhsagar and the Harvalem waterfall are the major ones. Harvalem also known as Arvalem is one of the best place for picnic with your family as its natural and eco-friendly atmosphere refreshes body and mind and the outstanding waterfall gives an amazing experience on visiting it. Alongside of the waterfall one can also visit one of the famous temple in Goa named Rudreshwar or Shiva temple.
Casa Alvarez
In Loutolim South Goa is a 250 year old Portuguese mansion once owned by the Alvarez family. This is a must tourist visit place in South Goa. The visit timings of this place is 9AM to 5PM. Entry fee to this heritage mansion is INR 150/- per head and an additional of INR 20/- for camera.
River cruise
Mandovi river is extremely relaxing, Santa Monica Cruise or Sunset Cruise On Mandovi River is a major tourist attraction of North Goa. The Sunset Cruise is arranged by Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC). This is an hour long cruise on the Santa Monica which takes guests out on a leisurely sail down the River Mandovi from the Santa Monica jetty in Panaji. The Santa Monica Cruise or Sunset Cruise sails past the Secretariat of the Goa Government.
Reis Magos Fort
Reis Magos Fort is situated on the bank of Mandovi river, almost facing the capital city Panjim.This Fort, surrounded by sturdy laterite walls studded with typically Portuguese turrets, was erected in 1551 to protect the narrowest point at the mouth of the Mandovi estuary. It was enlarged subsequently on different occasions and finally re-erected in 1707. The most intact Portuguese Fort in Goa mostly because of its restoration by the Govt. of Goa and the NGO INTACH.Goa is known for Adventure watersports If you plan Parasailing in Goa, should choose water dip option to enjoy one of the popular water sports of Goa. Chapora Fort
The most famous fort known as “Dil chahta hai Fort” will surprise with a magnificent sunset. The Chapora Fort rises high above the Chapora River. Before the Portuguese arrived in Goa, this location was the site for another fort. The present for was built in 1717 replacing the older fortifications.
