Recently, Madhavan has been seen in many films where he is completely reinventing the medium with movies like ‘Vikram Vedha’ and the Amazon Prime web series ‘Breathe’. Now, the actor will be involved in hosting the National Geographic Channel's upcoming series "Mega Icons".
The Nat geo show, ‘Mega Icons’ will feature the journey Virat Kohli, Kamal Haasan, Kiran Bedi, Dalai Lama, former President of India APJ Abdul Kalam and more. The format of the show is very fresh and interesting and that is the reason the actor immediately grabbed the opportunity.
Commenting on the series, R. Madhavan said in a statement: "We enjoy watching each ball rushing towards the fence from Virat's bat. And the excellence that Kamal Hassan brings to the silver screen. But sometimes, we all sit back and wonder, what really has made these Icons what they are today? Were these personalities just born to be great, and their success defined from day one? Or did their journey through life, their experiences and hard work, really shape them into the giants we revere.
In the series, the journey of the renowned icons will be analysed closely with the help of acclaimed scientists and expert psychoanalysts to scratch beneath the surface of their milestones achieved. This show will help many find answers on how these personalities have achieved the huge status, were they born to be different or did their life experience helped them into their greatness?
