Seldom comes a romantic film that wins everyone, be it the die-hard romantics or the hopeless one; ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ is definitely one of them. This Netflix original movie is getting rave reviews and cinephiles across the globe are showering love on this movie. The film is filled with many heart-warming moments that will stay in your heart for a very long time.
The film stars Lana Condor and Noah Centineo in lead roles, the movie is based on the book of the same name by Jenny Han. The movie traces the journey of Lara Jane Covey, a young Korean-American 16-year-old, who loves to just fall in love and live a dreamy life. But, as a regular teen she is extremely introvert in nature when it comes to expressing her feelings to the one she crushes on – and the problem gets even confusing when her latest crush is no one but her sister's ex-boyfriend.
She then starts writing letters to express herself but she never posts them, she does it to satisfy her inner chaos but as destiny had planned, her letters get posted ACCIDENTALY. What follows are adorable guffaws and innocent moments as she stages an act of dating the most popular boy in school -Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) - to save herself from the embarrassment that might come due to the release of all those letters.
This is no way an out-of-the-box story but the treatment is what makes the film so lovable. You will instantly relate to the characters and the situations, which will make you connect you with the film on a deeper level.
So, go on, take that popcorn tub and watch this really cute film.
