The much awaited trailer of Namaste England was unveiled today, the three minutes trailer traces the story of Param (Arjun) and Jasmeet (Parineeti). How they meet, fall in love, get separated only to meet again is what the crux of the film looks like.
So, basically the couple is poles apart when it comes to ambitions and dreams, in short the characters are looking way too clichéd. Looks like the writers did not spend much time to develop a character arch for the stars. Pareeneti flies away leaving her husband played by Arjun, to pursue her ambitions whereas Arjun, a love-struck lad follows her to get her back, what happens after that is what that adds to the already tiresome storyline.
The chemistry between the lead pair is, however, spectacular. They look fiery together on screen and complement each other well. The trailer comes with a tagline that says “Fall in love like never before.”
Parineeti had expressed her nervousness on the launch of the trailer, she had tweeted: “So nervous I could cry!!!! TRAILER OUT TOMORROW 🙌🙌🙌 6th SEPTEMBER!! Baba bachaooooo 🤯🤯🤯”

She had also expressed her fondness of Arjun Kapoor, she wrote: “As I stand at the eve of the trailer launch of arguably my biggest film, I cant help but feel a little emotional. This was a film I had dreamt of doing for a long time, and when I stood on the set in a traditional Indian outfit for the very first time, I felt like I was home. I don’t think I would have wanted to share this journey with anybody else but Arjun.”
Namaste England is second in the Namastey London franchise. Starring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and Rishi Kapoor, the 2007 film was a smashing hit and people were eagerly waiting for its second installment.
