Virat Kohli has always been in news headlines for wrong reviews. The Indian skipper has time and again wasted reviews in Test cricket which is an important part in a match to change the scenario of the game. Now we are talking about England’s second innings at the Oval Test on Sunday in which team India managed to waste both the reviews in initial overs.
This prompted formed England skipper Michael Vaughan to tag him the worst reviewer in the world. Taking to Twitter, Vaughan wrote: “Virat is the best Batsman in the World. #Fact. Virat is the worst reviewer in the World .. #Fact #ENGvsIND”
Virat is the best Batsman in the World .. #Fact .. Virat is the worst reviewer in the World .. #Fact#ENGvsIND
Former England captain Michael Vaughan after noticing the incident, he twitted, “Virat is the best Batsman in the World. #Fact. Virat is the worst reviewer in the World .. #Fact #ENGvsIND”
The first review was in the 10th over when Ravindra Jadeja hit Keaton Jennings on the pads and the team shouted for a leg-before decision. However, it was quite clear that the impact was outside the off-stump, but still, Kohli went forward to take the review and not with many surprises on field umpire’s decision was right.
The second review was lost by team India in 12th over, it was again Jadeja from the bowling side and the batsman was Alaistar Cook. Jadeja appealed for leg before wicket but it was clearly seen that the impact was outside the off-stump. So it seems that Virat Kohli needs to work on this aspect of the cricket being the top batsman in the world as he lost both the reviews within the first 12 overs.
