Mumbai Police has time and again proved it that they are way too creative when it comes to giving social messages with the help of their social media handle. The trailer of the upcoming movie Thugs of Hindostan have been trending for all good and bad reasons. Mumbai Police have taken note of it have cashed in on the buzz with its campaign #NoCityForThugs.
Mumbai Police shared a meme on their official Twitter handle in which they have shown a particular scene from The Thugs Of Hindostan trailer in which Aamir Khan says, "Dhokha swabhav hai mera", while Amitabh Bachchan counters with, "Aur bharosa mera."
After the tweet went viral, it was the lead actor of the movie Aamir who himself tweeted about it and expressed his respect for the Mumbai Police and wrote, "Waise, aap ka swabhav to shaqq, din-raat mehnat, aur satarkta hai. Bharosa to hum aap pe karte hain. Respect."
The Shehenshah of Bollywood also wrote"Waise, aap ka swabhav to shaqq, din-raat mehnat, aur satarkta hai. Bharosa to hum aap pe karte hain. Respect."
The characters of the movies are quite impressive and netizens are loving it. The movie is reportedly based on Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 bestselling novel Confessions Of A Thug. The most entertaining part of the movie is that Aamir and Amitabh will be share screen space for the first time in Bollywood.
Aamir Khan talking about his experience on working with Amitabh bachchan said, . "I have been a huge, huge fan of Mr Bachchan all along. The first day of rehearsals when we were sitting and reading scenes together..it was a fanboy moment for me. I couldn't speak properly, I couldn't remember my lines, I was going all over the place".
Thugs Of Hindostan is slated to release on November 8.
