The Shehenshah of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan has been quite vocal and also been the man who has given priority to cleanliness campaigns among the society. He is also the campaign ambassador of NDTV-Dettol’s, Banega Swach Bharat India Cleanathon and has said that there has to be continuity to maintain cleanliness and to achieve the goal of clean India.
Recently Amitabh Bachchan spoke about few things to maintain cleanliness in India while addressing the media at the fifth edition of NDTV-Dettol's Banega Swachh India Cleanathon 2018 on Tuesday in Mumbai.
The campaign NDTV-Dettol Banega Swachh India is to support the Government of India's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan that was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014. The main target of the campaign was to make India open defecation free (ODF) by October 2, 2019, which happens to be the 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Talking about the cleanliness campaign, the BJP government has taken some good initiatives to maintain cleanliness.
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan next will be seen in the upcoming film 'Thugs of Hindostan'.The film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Yash Raj Films. 'Thugs of Hindostan' is slated to release on November 8, 2018.
